HOPE For Portage
A House of Prayerful Expectation
HOPE for Portage, formerly the Portage Community Prayer Group, was established in September 2000 to pray
for and promote unity and revival in Northwest Indiana. Jesus prayed in John 17 that we would be one. As we come together to worship the Lord and pray, we are building bridges between people, churches, and denominations. Our differences fade away as we pray to our Lord for our community. He is establishing a house of prayer for all believers in this community. Our prayer times are open to the entire Body of Christ. Whether you are a housewife, a business executive, a student, or a pastor, you are welcome!
Our purpose is simple: To pray for and promote unity and revival in Northwest Indiana.
Our mission is clear: Laying aside all denominational and personal differences and focusing on our common faith, we will seek to follow God’s leading as we pray for unity and revival for Northwest Indiana. Preferring one another, we strive to live in peace within the body of Christ. We recognize the diversity within the body of Christ and strive to edify and encourage all Christian churches in our community. May the Lord’s name be praised and lifted high.
II Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
Isaiah 56:7 "Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a HOUSE OF PRAYER for all nations."
John 17:21 "That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me."
We are praying: For God to be known in this community. For lost souls to be saved. For pastors to be strengthened. For healthy and growing local churches. For unity in the Body of Christ. For children to know
Christ. For God’s kingdom to come. For His will to be done in the earth. For Godly, moral civil authority. For bold witnesses for Christ. For God’s Word to be preached. For the love of God to be seen in our city. For the Lord to raise laborers for the harvest.
154
154 is the number of known salvations reported so far for 2008 in our community. We praise God for each one who has begun their walk of faith in Christ! Pray that they would be rooted and grounded in the faith.
Let's plunder hell and populate heaven!

TESTIMONIAL
"I wholeheartedly endorse the ministry of Freedom Voices. Their ministry has been a great support to the coordinated efforts of the churches and para-church ministries in Porter County. Their emphasis on prayer and servant leadership is inspirational and I see God using it to expand the Kingdom of God in our communities."
Sincerely,
--Pastor Mike Sutton, President of the Valparaiso Christian Ministerial Association
Pastor of Adult Ministries-Liberty Bible Church

"Thank you for what you do~ I love reading your emails because they embrace what I have always thought churches in a community need to be~TOGETHER as brothers and sisters in Christ just living and worshipping in different houses!!!"
